News and Notes
There are nine days left before the long
Christmas break.
We have a field trip
next Monday and our Christmas Party on the 14th of December. We are asking for different chaperones on
this trip as everyone wants to go on a field trip with their child to make a
lasting memory. On this trip we are only
allowed two chaperones a class the price for the children is $5.00 and
chaperones $5.50. We are looking forward
to having an awesome trip culminating our adventure with lunch at the breeze.
The
holiday shop will be here at Seabreeze next Monday-Friday.
The room mothers will be asking for a small
donation and contributions for our Christmas Party on the fourteenth.
Progress reports went out last week and we still have three
more weeks before the second nine weeks is over. You still have time to bring up those low grades
if you keep your focus on excellence.
Benchmark
testing continues this week with math and writing. The writing FCAT test is
coming up in February 26 and the 27.
Please make plans to be here and be on time.
The news crew is soliciting members for the
news team. The requirements are simple: attend school regularly and be on time
and have an average of a C or better. We
are looking forward to seeing our fourth grade students on television in the
morning.
Mrs. Scott has enrolled thirty out of
forty-two students for IXL.com. She did
not do everyone because two hundred dollars being paid out of pocket was quite
a bit for only thirty students. Until
PTA pays for a site license thirty students will be a good start.
The classroom
store will continue this Thursday. A special thanks to Mr. Hayes for undertaking such a noble task.
