We have ten instructional days until FCAT.

Today we began an intensive focus on the FCAT standards.  Our goal is to help your child raise their pervious year scores and to make definite gains.

Safety Patrols will be selected soon. Selection Criteria for patrols will be: attendance, tardiness, conduct, attitude, and grades.

Congratulations students for spending at least one hundred minutes on IXL.COM last week.  All but five students met this goal.

Last year our fourth grade team had the second highest Math scores in Duval County.  I know IXL helped to make this possible.

We have a field trip scheduled for May 5th to St. Augustine, details coming soon.  On Friday May 9th we are having a Mother's Day Special for all our moms.

Please save the date for this Mother's Day Special.

"Attendance at school is an excellent way to train our children how they should go to work and hold down jobs as productive adult members of society. The way I went to school as a child has given me excellent work ethic that has lasted over three decades.   Our children's most important  job is coming to school daily  and  receiving great "pay days" of  outstanding grades."

This Week's Study Guide

News and Notes

There are 19 school days until Spring break.  Please encourage your child to stay focused at this most important time of the year.  Sometimes the children start thinking about  summer  and  the fun summer is going to be and they lose their focus on what is most important at this time.(schoolwork)  Then the grades decline and subsequently they have a report card full of F’s and D’s.  Please encourage your child to do their best at all times.  Progress reports will go home this Friday.  Let’s stay focused as this is the hardest quarter this year.
