Notes and Announcements
I will try to send some math papers out on this Friday.   Last week this did not happen. Please sign and return all D and F papers and the folder.

Progress Reports went out Friday two weeks ago.  We will send two other progress reports before the first report cards come home.

Homework is assigned every night Monday- Thursday.  Late papers are not accepted unless absenteeism is the reason.  Some of the children are not doing homework at all.  Homework is always associated with the FCAT in math.  Children that score well on the FCAT always do their homework.  Children that read for an hour a day usually score a five on the FCAT. Usually good readers are good writers.
February 26, 2014 all fourth graders will take the writing test.
Mr. Prater assigns writing homework nightly to help the children get writing stamina. Please talk to your child about being the best citizen they can be in school as we have to select patrols this spring.

-New patrols will go on duty at the end of the school year.  November 3, eastern standard time begins.
