Language Arts

 Reading: Everyone is to read for 30  minutes nightly.

 Writing: The students will be given a nightly writing prompt. They can either write it in their journals, or post it on their blog page. Below are the directions for the blog.

• To access the blog, just follow the following steps:
• Go to  http://kidblog.org/PratersAuthors/
• Click log in in the top right hand corner
• Select your name from the username drop down list
• Type in the password, which is password
• Once you are in, click New Blog to create a new post

Reading

Every student is expected to read for 30 minutes a night, write a two sentence summary, record the number of minutes that they read, and have a parent initial for verification. I sent home  the log today, and it will be due on Friday morning.

Math

Monday-Math sheet practice 4-1 and study 6 times tables.

Tuesday- Math sheet practice 4-2 and study 6 times tables.

Wednesday-Math sheet practice 4-3 and start sunshine math.

Thursday-Math sheet practice 4-4 and finish sunshine math.

Sunshine math is due this Friday September 20, 2013

Wednesday-Math 6 times table test

Thursday- Science Test on   the phases of the moon.

Friday- Math topic four test

Notes and Announcements

  Progress Reports will go out on this Friday.  This will give us adequate time to give each child a fair chance to do get work handed in.  This will allow the teacher’s time to get papers graded and recorded.  Have a great week.
