Classroom News and Notes

- In early May about six or seven of our outstanding students will be honored as safety patrols.  Something that will be taken into consideration for the patrol selection processes are: attendance, tardiness, conduct, attitude, and grades.
The children were made aware of this patrol opportunity the first week  of school August 2013.

- Next week our students will be taking the Reading, Math, and Science CGA Test on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make sure your child is here and on time. The CGA  test gives us valuable information about your son or daughter's  readiness for the FCAT.

- We have twenty  instructional days until the FCAT  test.  Please continue helping your son/daughter do their best at all times.     Please allow your child to get on ixl  for math and i-ready for reading and math to get ready for the F.C.A.T. April 14, 2014.   Twenty -five percent of the F.C.A.T. will be decimals, fractions, Or percentage please have your child  to work on these standards every evening on the computer.

- If anyone would like to donate items to the treasure chest feel free to do so.  All items donated will be definitely appreciated.

"Attendance at school is an excellent way to train our children how they should go to work and hold down jobs as productive adult members of society. The way I went to school as a child has given me excellent work ethic that has lasted over three decades.   Our children's most important  job is coming to school daily  and  receiving great "pay days" of  outstanding grades."

-  Mrs. Scott
