News and Notes
We
have thirty-five instructional days until the FCAT writing test.
It is
important for your child to do as well as he or she can, therefore, it is
imperative that your child comes to school each day they possibly can to get ready
for this test and get a score of a four or better.
- Mr. Prater has been very diligent about getting your child prepared for this test. We also have about sixty-five days of instruction before the regular FCAT in April. There are also nine days left in this nine weeks.
- This nine weeks and the next nine weeks are of optimal importance for your child to show growth and thrive in fourth grade. Our desire is for each child to do their best on these tests and to pass fourth grade without having to go to summer school.
- Please help us help your child by having them come to school on time and being alert and energetic with an attitude to excel and receive all knowledge being taught as a sponge would absorbs water.
- We need your help by checking nightly homework and making sure your child reads nightly and knows from memory all multiplication facts from 1x1-12x12
- Please help your students memorize their weekly spelling words. We use these in our writing, and to increase their overall vocabulary.
